Today is Saturday and every homeowner (whether former or current), has to take care of their little house… Or is everyone lying on the sun lounger with their tablet, watching the lawn robot? :D No time for teacher discussions…;).. not later either.

I am currently sitting inside watching the garden landscapers distribute topsoil and pave the remaining corners. Otherwise, I will soon drive to the office to work for 1-2 hours. I have many teachers (Lehrer und Professoren) in my family and circle of acquaintances. I would not want to trade places even though, in my opinion, the job is paid well to very well.

For the effort required, teachers are very well paid... Except for the leisure time during holidays

I have many teachers in my circle of acquaintances, but I think much of what is perceived as stress there can simply be explained by a lack of resilience. In sales, you clearly have much more stress than teaching something for 4 (time) hours a day.

First, coffee... you want a discount? I'll go ask the boss... we always give 3% cash discount anyway. Yeah, let's see. How are the kids, Uwe? First coffee with colleagues and a trip to the bathroom. Oh, already 12 again, first the canteen. Then study the new equipment options for the new company car and see if the colleague has something better. Afternoon fatigue, archive a few orders and see when the next trade fair is. Oh, already 5 again... :p

I received a letter from my electricity supplier last week stating that from 01.07.22 the abolition of the Renewable Energy Act surcharge will result in us paying about 4 cents/kWh less. That’s why I set up our whirlpool, and after I finished my schnitzel along with a little beer, I’m going to jump in.
