Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

After a brief fact check, wages have risen significantly more (I haven't added it up exactly now but it's clearly more. Alone in 2020, 5% in 2 stages, in 2014 3.1% and if I look for every wage increase (tariff) I easily come to 15% together in 10 years). Please provide the source for this nonsense.

In 2018 there were also 3% and 2%. So the statement was total nonsense. This time, however, at least tangible nonsense ;). Normally the tactic is always a "people say" "it is said" to avoid being vulnerable.

Also interesting is the "I just heard" regarding the 15%. That always sounds so nice like an exclusive source and knowledge advantage ;) But then it’s only the press release from Verdi.

Could it be that paving gravel has become much more expensive? I only find offers >100 EUR /t and I think it was significantly less in spring?

Where are you looking? I find it hard to believe that simple gravel 2/5 at the gravel plant now costs 100€. In any case, I paid much less in September, back then it was 2 trailers of concrete gravel, 1 trailer of gravel 2/5 and one trailer of gravel 1/3 for 80€. Total amount about 4.5 tons.

So involve company profits in the pension. But this can only be done on the stock market with companies that also place products (bonds/shares) there. Alternative?

Yes, of course it’s not perfect. There are some large companies that are not listed on the stock market. Most of them issue bonds though. At a certain size, you don’t just go to the bank anymore. The scheme is not supposed to replace taxation but merely supplement it. Because capital gains can also be tapped very easily worldwide. And that is the advantage that always gets lost in the discussion. There is a reason why the Norwegian sovereign fund invests everywhere except in its own country. You make yourself somewhat independent of the economic development in your own country.

And I would like to point out again the broadly falling producer prices, which can be found in [Destatis]. Let's see if the trend continues when the figures from December come in.

Been to Ikea yesterday. Our desired front cost €799 in the reference price in December, yesterday it was already €949.

So far only internet. I have now also found one for 68 EUR - at least. It's just not clear yet what the delivery will cost... 80 EUR for everything or /ton? What kind of trailers and towing vehicle do you have? 1.5t payload possible? If I borrowed a suitable braked trailer, I’m only allowed 1.2t total (trailer + payload). Unfortunately, I got my driver's license exactly 4 months too late due to lack of money back then, otherwise I would still have a pink slip and be allowed 7.5t (total). :(

These are two different statements. 1. Theoretically, everyone becomes richer because stock prices rise. But if everyone tries to cash in their stocks, the brokers on Wall Street will fall off the roofs.
