"Our" data protection law (as of 1974) may have served as a template for the GDPR, but all (miserable and underhanded) attempts to push through data retention have failed before the BGH as well as the EGH. "Our" data protection is currently rather determined by the EU since these laws "simply" override the German laws, which are lagging behind regarding data protection. "Our" data protection is therefore nothing special, except particularly bad in terms of protecting consumers from tracking on the web and particularly good in terms of protecting data collectors (that is, not the rights of the consumers). Before something like this is excessively praised here and maybe even believed, I unfortunately MUST correct that ;) Dear , as much as I appreciate your opinion and expertise in the area of floor plans etc., your knowledge regarding data protection in Germany is, sorry, at least incomplete. However, regarding digitalization, which was more the topic here, unfortunately, we are the frontrunner in Europe – from behind :eek:That may sound somewhat distorted if written here by a single person. Almost every authority, every company or wai offers an app for downloading or sending or email communication.
