Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

I can contribute something towards the construction costs. We have an extension project in the family that probably won't be started now. Here in southern Germany. Roughly estimated with all the offers between 5k-6k per sqm.

I understand your irony but we are talking here about an extension without much equipment. The house has no controlled residential ventilation or anything else. What a few years ago was considered luxury is now more like minimal equipment.

I understand your intention, nevertheless I firmly believe that Orban's intentions were never to do anything good for the "ordinary" population. Rather, it is a pre-election gift here to then rob them all the more elsewhere and to funnel the loot to his own cronies.

Exactly, that's why the fertility rate there is also a rapid and almost unbelievable 0.06 higher than ours (1.53 to 1.59 in 2020).
