Who offers switching bonuses for a one-month term? Those used to be individual offers, but not the norm. Nowadays, definitely not.

Yes, I have also noticed that currently there are hardly any offers without a minimum term of 12 months. In my region, as far as I know, there are exactly two. One with a switching bonus, but it is only paid out after 12 months.

There were always some... And currently also with Shoop, no explicit information whether only 12 months or also monthly.

I am always amazed and slowly getting angry, E.ON in the North already raised the basic supply rate to just under 56 cents/kWh as of March 1st. Luckily, we still had the Hotboy heating phase before that for 33 cents. That almost makes you happy to the point of giddiness.

Even when I compare electricity prices between North and South, I could cry. In the North, I get the cheapest green electricity for 37 cents, friends in Franconia for 29 cents. That honestly makes me a bit angry.
Why is it so different?

Because nuclear power plants are still running in Bavaria, which are cheap. But they are actually only cheap because the taxpayer covers insurance, decommissioning, and final disposal.
If decommissioning and final disposal had to be financed through operation... well...

The topic also annoys me. It is probably because we up here have to co-finance renewable energies and therefore pay higher surcharges.
