This is, in my assessment, one of the problems here with us. Well maintained/clean goes hand in hand with high additional costs, which the majority of the population does not (can/want to) pay. (For example, I also regret that in Germany groceries are not packed and stored in the car by employees. I would pay extra for that, but the service simply does not exist. Not even in hardware stores, where it would be helpful for - not only older - customers.)

It is possible at our local REWE with pre-ordering via the app and costs 2 euros. I then receive the ordered goods already packed in boxes there, and the cashier carries them to my car. In the beverage market, a local brand, the same.

But then you can't choose for yourself.

No, it has to work differently. You drive up in the car and hand over your keys.
Then you select your groceries, of course with a shopping cart pushed by an employee, while another places the chosen items into the cart.
When a cart is full, it is discreetly unpacked, scanned, and packed in handy bags – you, of course, continue to enjoy Merkur and Pluto with a fresh shopping cart.
When you are finished, you get back into the car, already loaded with groceries and electricity, and drive off.
The bill is settled monthly.
That's how it has to be!

Wrong. It's a question of mentality. There are simply many dirty pigs here who make everything dirty. Throwing trash on the street, leaving grill leftovers on the beach, graffiti, peeing in the train station, and so on and so forth.
You don't find this extent in Singapore.
If everyone made an effort, there wouldn't have to be so much trash and dirt cleared away.

If one were to receive 10 lashes on the soles of the feet here for spitting on the street, it would probably be cleaner here as well. Not that I endorse it, but everything has reasons. The reasons are not always good or bad upbringing.

Because in Singapore, people are educated with high fines that are also enforced. But a city-state can never be compared to a large-area state. Of course, people there are satisfied, after all, there are no alternatives.
