Have you also already received unexpected bills during/after the house construction? Unforeseeable costs must always be included in the cost calculation: Just last week, a bill came in for nearly €500 for just 1.5 hours of work + 45 minutes of travel: Abwasserröhredichtungspfrüfung. And all the water they pumped in (which was, of course, not little (and that in the very dry summer)) we also had to pay for ourselves :( At least everything was tight. Since we all laid the sewage pipes under and next to the house ourselves, that was already a great relief!! Unimaginable if something had been leaky there...... Uiuiuiui

What did they do besides running water in and looking?
That was quick money earned, I would have done it for 400 ;-)

I was on the website of my hot water tank supplier yesterday afternoon to already get a new sacrificial anode (I don’t need it yet, but what you have, you have). In the process, I came across a small price increase since my purchase almost two years ago. 300 potable water tanks 2019: €535.50 gross ==> yesterday: €1,185 (but currently not available)

But now definitely stores drinking water twice as well as your ancient model ;)

Nothing else, that's the "curious" part. Yes, I even brought them coffee and cookies because they looked so BORED. But it's mandatory to have it done. There's nothing you can do.... Are you also such a "canal guy"? I mean self-employed?

What kind of regulation is that, honestly that's the first time I'm hearing about it. I also laid the stuff myself, there was never such an inspection required.

PS: Something else on the topic, I was whispered today that next year a price increase of up to 50% is expected for concrete. We will see if that's true, I already found that quite steep. Info comes directly from the source....concrete plant.
