I have to strongly disagree there. Three years ago I bought an old building gap from the 70s. Was there an old-fashioned development plan? Yes. But we planned accordingly and despite a 90 cm knee wall, we live very well and happily in our house. Fiber optic: It hasn’t arrived comprehensively in rural areas anyway. Generation: Why shouldn’t you be happy there? Almost all my neighbors are 70+ and the nicest people I could imagine. You just have to have a little conversation with the people, then it works out in the neighborhood.

No one denies that either - but it's like the topic 15 pages ago about when to sell your detached house and move into an apartment block... If you want to do that, feel free, but not everyone likes it... If you drive through the new development areas more than 20 km away, out of 100 houses at most 8-10 have no two full floors or a knee wall of approximately 2 m. It's simply a matter of personal taste. And for people over 1.95 m tall, two full floors definitely have advantages that cannot be argued away...

That is not true. Large plots due to former agricultural use. The buildings simply have to go. Few direct neighbors because of missing 90-degree angles. Development is free; with us there are no specifications. Development plans do not exist for many town centers. Par 34 + a lot of good will allow almost everything.

Fiber optics and gas are available occasionally as well. Unlike the development areas of the 90s.

I do not want to swap my inner-city plot with those in the housing estates.

Correct. Additionally: For about 90% of the plots in the town center / old building areas, the plots here are larger than the towels onto which a "town villa" is nowadays forced in new development areas.
