Doesn't surprise me now. Pellet heating hits exactly the sweet spot of high flow temperature (= compatible with old buildings without further renovation), supposed independence from rising energy prices, presumed environmental friendliness, and less effort than, for example, with firewood. Due to the elimination of oil tanks, space is not a problem in many old buildings.

Correctly, it must be said that in the German translation of the tweet the unit of measurement was lost. (2000€/m3)

The unit of measurement actually no longer plays a major role. German politics was and still is of the opinion that we no longer need Russian gas.
This afternoon, the report came up on Zerohedge that Gazprom has closed the Yamal pipeline to Europe. Apparently, the German gas purchasers do not want to open an account with Gazprom Bank. Since all other bank connections to Russia have been cut off and the Swift system has been recklessly sanctioned, there are now initial supply stops. It becomes critical when the Russian shuts down Northstream I.
Then the German industrial consumers will be forcibly shut off. All of them!

Bad for Ukraine. They also have no gas now. Bad for Poland and bad for Germany anyway.

Shell from Great Britain also no longer receives any Russian crude oil.

One could also say, we are no longer entirely in control of our own fate.

... this message is said to have already been given this afternoon? Strange that this message apparently only appeared in an ideology-wise more than questionable publication.

Yeah yeah … and the Ukrainians are still throwing bouquets and chocolates for the liberators. Zerohedge … great source.

It's not as if "the Russian" is leaving us his gas and oil as a forced service.
How else should he pay for his tanks and soldiers that he is currently wasting by the thousands in Ukraine?
In case of the embargo, we would not be the only ones with a big problem.
