Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

Just a layman's question in between (hope it's okay):

My house construction company is asking if they should reroute the water pipes towards the kitchen window. We want to have the sink and dishwasher there. It's a special request that costs 475 euros. Should I have it done by them or the kitchen installer? Apparently many kitchen installers don't do that... but I haven't had any discussions myself yet.

12%?! The shell construction rather saves 50%, maybe 40% due to material price increases

cool! May I ask what the extra cost was? It brings about 1.5-2 degrees. But whether you have 23 or 25° indoor temperature in summer is a noticeable difference. However, it also promotes soil regeneration in summer and costs almost nothing thanks to photovoltaics. Unfortunately, they charge a lot for it. A split unit is usually also ugly, at most for the bedroom

Do you have a fixed price on construction and interest? Then I would save the 12% on the shell construction and insist on my construction guarantee.
Either all or nothing. Everything in between is pretty gray.

Costs were 4,200 €. According to the general contractor, however, one cost block is that you have to use different controllers, which cost more than the usual ones. I hope that with the underfloor heating, cooling, and controlled residential ventilation, I can cool a little more :)
