And on top of that, in these areas the land doesn't cost more than the house. It also makes no sense to talk about being unecological and land consumption when you take a closer look. The industrially farmed potato field is simply not a valuable habitat. My garden will easily surpass it in terms of animal-friendliness. In metropolitan areas, of course, it looks different. When the last gaps are filled (or, as they nicely say, densified), something often gets lost.

At these prices?
I took out 350,000, repay 3.5% at 1% interest rate... that's 1,300 EUR per month for 25.5 years.
At 2.5% interest, the term extends to 33 years.

So I pay 8 years longer, for no added value.

One comes from a time when there were still houses for 200T DM and one earned 70k DM. Don't get me wrong

But she doesn’t raise it the same way with 2.5% :) And what do some people say: You don’t have to, no one is forcing you ;) just a little joke :cool:

Yes, because the combination of purchase prices/interest rates is interesting. And compared to 1% a year ago, interest rates have just increased by 150%.
