With that, you have proven that your information probably comes from the "Bild Dir unsere Meinung" source. I am Polish myself and follow independent sources every day.

1. Poland was among the first to insist on an energy embargo.

2. Poland has been preparing for years to become independent from Russia. They can practically do it from one day to the next.

If the Poles complain, it is about rising prices. But they accept it because they know what they are paying for and what the likely alternative would be.

Maybe something like that? It's a mystery to me how your address range with such a statement didn't end up on the blacklist, but alright.

The forum operator is traditionally very tolerant of right-wing tendencies, warmongering, trivialization of genocide, and the spread of false information from Russian sources. Truly concerning things like links or posts with filler words just to reach 5 words, however, are at least consistently sanctioned.

I thought this was about construction costs....

Is there a thread where people discuss the impact on completed new buildings?
I bought an apartment that should be ready to move into in 2 months.
I haven’t heard yet that there are problems with tiles and toilets.
But I am already a bit concerned about how the market is shifting.
-> higher interest rates + higher construction costs -> projects fail or get canceled
-> people don’t have as much money anymore (inflation)
-> whether the calculation of the purchase price and the expected rent will work in the long run.
Or did I shoot myself in the foot 1.5 years ago at the notary?

Is this your first and only rented apartment?

You surely have a fixed interest rate, right?

As a landlord, you are in a very poor position in Germany. A mix of easy prey and a person without rights.
The stigmatization of the private small landlord is currently running at full speed.

With sufficient financial background, however, this is not a real problem.
