I believe aWATTar has not been mentioned yet. They also work with variable electricity prices. Probably little known is that metering point operators and electricity suppliers can/may be different. GreenPlanet Energy unfortunately no longer accepts new customers, and additional supply points are currently not allowed either. However, they only charge between 20 cents (for wallbox operation) up to 30.9 cents for truly green electricity.

The idea behind awattar and similar providers is quite nice. Unfortunately, on average they are much too expensive. It doesn't help to have a competitive price for only 1-2 hours a day. They have the huge disadvantage of not being able to purchase electricity quotas because it contradicts the principle. This was already disadvantageous last year (solar yield was not so good and wind power was especially bad last year) and has negatively affected the last heating period and currently as well.

Charging storage from the public grid is, in my opinion, a gray area; feeding electricity back is definitely forbidden under the Renewable Energy Act. Storage systems also implement this in the BMS. That means you have to tinker with something for it to work. Leaving aside the economic viability.

No, it depends on the favorable quotas that MM has with Eon / eprimo.

Something new from the new construction front:

Current project (just being completed):

4 terraced houses in our district of a town with 15,000 inhabitants in a rural area. All around 200 sqm plot (177 - 240 I believe), all around 130-140 sqm living space. Cost around 580,000 - 590,000! No carport, only 2 parking spaces included.

Had my wife estimate it. Her estimate was 200k lower.

In the greater Munich area, people would suspiciously ask if they are located next to a slaughterhouse or a hazardous waste site or why they are so cheap. :) Here nothing is going down. On the contrary.

Well, but we are here in the countryside, more precisely in the Eifel. By the way, the shell construction was completely underwater a year ago.
