The purchase offer was notarized after 10 years had passed. Therefore, no problem for me. Otherwise, no problem since it’s 99 years and I will probably sell everything in at most 15 years. There was a detailed thread (a kind of construction diary) with hundreds of pictures, unfortunately deleted. Nevertheless, some pictures can be found in other posts by me (or me as superzapp / knalltüte).

And our general contractor has a fixed price that will not be changed. Therefore, at least there planning security remains.

We signed in November 2020 and did not pay the general contractor 1 cent more than

Could be..

Yes, definitely for local conditions.

Above all, it is about whether we want to commit ourselves to such a big financing because of the larger plot!

It’s not about being able to, but really about wanting to, and my mind says "NO, STOP"! Stay grounded!!

Now I know where you went. Had already missed you ;) You had already hinted in some thread what you pay, I thought that was a great price for the standard you are building at even back then

Not building also does not seem to be a solution. I just read in the leading weekly newspaper from Hamburg that Germany's largest real estate company is announcing "significant rent increases." "If inflation remains permanently at four percent, rents will also have to increase accordingly annually in the future." That really doesn't sound good. I hope that despite the more difficult situation and rising interest rates, all forum members will carry out their building projects.

The argument is correct that the landlord also faces inflation and rents must increase… However, I fear that inflation is also being used as a pretext to maximize profit. Next year, inflation will certainly be lower.

See oil companies, exactly the same.

I also think that inflation will be lower, but not fall back to 1.5-2% like in previous years. More likely around 4%.
