Except for the buffer tank, that fits almost perfectly. Because it modulates down, you could check all the heating valves and adjust the heating curve step by step. Then the buffer tank doesn't really have a function, but the system would still be efficient.

The heating technician should install the buffer into the return line and not in parallel

I also see the future of energy consultants more in the area of customized system optimization. Especially in the [Altbaubereich], there must be many more tailored solutions that take into account both the existing conditions and the technical, practical, and financial possibilities. Instead of simply calculating everything according to tables, adding large buffers, and recommending a maximum solution.

Unfortunately, this is currently not within the scope for energy consultants. You don't need proper training for that anyway. Theoretically, as a business economist, I could take an exam for it and then work as an energy consultant. I rather see the manufacturers or the craft guilds as being responsible.

That's what I meant - the energy consultant really has to develop into a genuine energy consultant. Currently, it is almost impossible to find a REAL consultant who not only meets the requirements for subsidies or building applications. And the sector also needs to break free from the lobbying of the insulation industry to develop a greater variety of solutions.
