Is the spot price really that relevant for NS1? I thought Russia has long-term delivery contracts with relatively fixed conditions. What the buyers do at the other end then (reselling at the spot price? :) ) is another matter. But I don’t know, does anyone know more about how that works? The gas spot price is astronomical, actually it would be stupid of Tsar Vollpfosten the Little to shut down the Nord Stream 1 pipeline after maintenance. Currently, a lot of money is being made with it. In the last 2 weeks it rose from 84 euros to 168 euros (unit MW).
By now one can regularly refuel here during off-peak times at about €1.75/l E10. At least that gives the impression that current measures and prices do have some effect. However, the oil price has only recently dropped like that and Durran’s recent remark that the euro has crashed is not untrue. The oil price is at the level of 02/2022. Gas stations say otherwise, but well. Lobbying makes the cash registers ring.
Not only in construction, I notice it professionally in IT as well, things are running more smoothly again. Keyword supply chains/Corona.Some raw materials for construction are partially available for order again.
