Is the spot price really that relevant for NS1? I thought Russia has long-term delivery contracts with relatively fixed conditions. What the buyers do at the other end then (reselling at the spot price? :) ) is another matter. But I don’t know, does anyone know more about how that works? By now one can regularly refuel here during off-peak times at about €1.75/l E10. At least that gives the impression that current measures and prices do have some effect. However, the oil price has only recently dropped like that and Durran’s recent remark that the euro has crashed is not untrue. Not only in construction, I notice it professionally in IT as well, things are running more smoothly again. Keyword supply chains/Corona.

I still remember we wrote about this here ;)

That’s also annoying.
What does your shell builder say about it?

Only the exchange rate has worsened a little bit. Therefore, a higher price than back then is quite justified. What is unjustified, as always, are the price surcharges here in the region. Konstanz 20 cents above the surrounding area. But what use is the gas station 5 km away if you would need an amphibious vehicle or have to take the ferry to get there?

It is probably due to the island location; in Sylt, fuel always costs 10 cents more than on the mainland.

That is correct. In February, WTI was at 83 euros; now it is at 93 euros.

Diesel was at 2.069 euros/liter this morning, only to drop by 18 cents 30 minutes later.

I can still understand that in Sylt, with the car ferry it's really a hassle and that's also expensive if you travel in the truck area. But whether the tanker goes to Radolfzell, Stockach, or Konstanz doesn't make a difference. They simply skim off because the alternatives are either too far away (Radolfzell, Stockach) or more expensive (Switzerland).
