Why all the babbling? Do you really think that digitizing the building permit process won't result in 100,000 more new housing units than without it? After all, that is one of the most important decisions!
Next year definitely not. If I look at our public sector clients, a concrete contract for the digitization of construction matters will be awarded at the earliest in 5 years. Before that, everything has to work its way through the individual levels and specialist departments.
There would be a way to make building (at least for housing companies and similar, where it makes sense) incredibly attractive all at once.
Elimination of VAT. But that would reduce federal revenues...
It also has to do with costs, but not purely construction costs:
Our current electricity provider is increasing prices by about 100% at the start of the new year. The usage price is nearly 60 cents. On the internet, EnBW is listed at 37 cents. Should I simply cancel the contract to get the basic tariff? How do you handle this?
I would like to confirm what some previous speakers have already stated: I too have been receiving an increasing number of calls and written contacts from agents whom we contacted 3-4 years ago, but who were unable to offer us anything at that time.
Just like every year. Find a cheap (somewhat reputable) provider and sign a new contract. That can also be the basic supplier. How else would you do it?
