First, a 3-month replacement supply is scheduled. Prices can be bad during that time. If the supply contract still has a term, simply object to the price increase. See [Verbraucherzentrale].

My contract has now automatically been extended for one year, but I no longer have a price guarantee.
Couldn't my supplier come up with the idea to raise prices at any time? Or? (of course then I would have the right to cancel)

For years and still now, we were in basic supply. Last week, the letter with the price increases as of 1.1.23 arrived.

Gas: Basic price from €7.24 to €9.92, consumption price from 4.55 ct to 12.55 ct

Electricity: Basic price remains at €9.27, consumption price from 22.23 ct to 34.84 ct

When I see the prices with others sometimes, we’re probably doing quite well..
