Phew, unfortunately I can no longer delete the post. I certainly did not want to start a fundamental discussion. Actually, I just wanted to say that the economy is (still very) good and that quite a few people can still afford new cars. Also in the future. The sales figures and waiting times for cars prove that quite well.

P.S. And VW is bought without hesitation? Wait a minute, there was that tiny bit of fraud... oh well, that's old news.

And while we're digressing. Today I had a one-hour consultation with the (a) bank regarding investment in sustainable funds (my wish). However, he would prefer to recommend UniFonds (nothing to do with sustainability).

And: Today (had some time or rather took it) I spent half an hour talking with a nice customer about political disillusionment in general and "corruption" here in the area in particular.

I wonder: Who criticizes people who have to buy a Tesla, then give away their iPhone, and skip their next long-distance trip by ship or plane?

That is just brand new, only temporary, does not apply to C (Brandenburg is not participating), doesn't help if you don't have to travel daily.
So under normal conditions a single ticket costs 3-3.80 EUR and yes, with that you can travel quite far for 2 hours (theoretically from Potsdam to Strausberg - I don't know if that works within 2 hours), but if you travel four stops in one direction (about 2-3km) and want to return within an hour, you have to buy another ticket. Then you are out 6 EUR because you had to go to the doctor for a short time. And that's what I call expensive.

As compensation for my unsustainable lifestyle and since I am currently making lunch... here is my sustainable (vegan), healthy, and organic breakfast/brunch/lunch. (The "Kinderwurst" visible is also vegan...)

In how many decades is that supposed to happen? It is pointless to criticize today's traffic now with the argument that there will be solutions for it in 50 years - maybe. I am also not saying to shut off the gas valve immediately, fusion is the solution.

That was not the point of the vision either.
That this thread sometimes throws tantrums should be known to an old forum veteran like you.

By the way, I agree with Ibnan on the time frame; it’s more like 10-20 years than 50. However, not in good ol’ Germany.
The Chinese or Koreans will show us how to do it, and then we’ll buy it from them at a high price. Whether in 50 or 100 years, no idea. By then, I’ll be ashes anyway.
