As I understand it, a smart meter is optional. Without this feature, you pay the monthly average price plus fees, etc. So it would only be a bet on current costs on the electricity exchange, which will be below the prices of the utilities. Or am I misunderstanding that?The catch with awattar/tibber is the initial conversion to a smart meter. That can apparently take quite a while. A smart meter is also expensive (€100 p.a.) and that of course remains with you, unless you convert back if you want to turn your back on these providers. Of course, sooner or later we will all be forced to have a smart meter and the costs ... but personally, I wouldn't provoke that.
A Bonzenfeature would be if the beeping stopped in response to voice control (shut up!).Is egal, meiner hat solche Bonzenfeatures nicht. ;)
