Unfortunately, I can't make anything of that comment.
But dogs that are hit bark, or how does it go? ;)

There are good reasons why banks send the new PIN in a separate tear-open envelope and as a scratch card. And with the Stasi, steaming open letters was also a standard method. Mail is technically an unencrypted and unverified communication channel after all.

How is one supposed to get into the home network through the Telekom cabinet?

You have a direct connection from the Telekom box to the router in the house, that is all you need :)

That's why I'm writing this, it should actually be clear to everyone...
The sarcasm is not aimed at the fact that it wouldn't be possible. But rather at the fact that there are numerous ways to intercept data. Including simpler and more likely ones.

In short: I just can't take this spy thriller fantasy from Fuchs seriously. You know him and his roaming hordes.

You have a connection to my router from anywhere in the world.
This connection is called the Internet.
Therefore, you have no advantage if you establish an even more direct connection via some box on the street.

Of course, you can disconnect me there, but you won't get easier access to my home automation from the box on the street than from anywhere else in the world.
