Although I can say that the 3 big letters are very accommodating and also very fair with existing contracts (increase of 2 cents per kWh)

No, when the price guarantee expires, they are allowed to raise prices, but as far as I know, you then get a special right of termination.

The strange thing is, I just read in the Tagesspiegel Checkpoint that there was a loyalty offer for existing customers. All those who did not accept it are now supposed to have received the increase. But I don't remember the offer at all. I'll follow up on that again... Crazy, the contact form doesn't work - they must be getting a lot of inquiries right now...

I don't understand. If I renew the contract from 01.12., then I have contractual terms which also include the price. And if the contract period runs for 12 months, then both must adhere to the contractual terms, or not? But apparently the supplier is allowed to adjust prices at any time unless there is a price guarantee. I just find it strange that many write that the price is usually increased after the contract term expires. It's now one week before the end and I have not received any mail yet. What is also strange is that I signed up via CheckXX last year at 30.54ct and in the app a unit price of 26.25ct is shown. Well, let's see what the billing shows next week... probably the bonus based on consumption X is included there. When I go to their website, they are currently advertising a work price of 66.95ct o_O

only criticism* at the expense of poorer countries, where the situation doesn’t look quite as rosy.
