Although I can say that the 3 big letters are very accommodating and also very fair with existing contracts (increase of 2 cents per kWh)
Apropos electricity. What happens when the electricity contract (31ct/kwh) with the 3 big letters expires on 30.11.22 but I have a price guarantee until 31.12.22 and tacitly renew it. The contract is automatically extended by 1 year without cancellation. As I understand it, the provider must stick to the price until 31.12.23, right?
The strange thing is, I just read in the Tagesspiegel Checkpoint that there was a loyalty offer for existing customers. All those who did not accept it are now supposed to have received the increase. But I don't remember the offer at all. I'll follow up on that again... Crazy, the contact form doesn't work - they must be getting a lot of inquiries right now...Now also Berlin Berliner Stadtwerke: CURRENT: Price per kWh: 25.91 cents/kWh GG: 8.90 EUR/month from 1.1.23: Price per kWh: 52.90 cents/kWh GG: 8.90 EUR/month Instalment will then increase from January from 117 to 228 EUR
No, when the price commitment expires they are allowed to increase, but as far as I know you then have a special right of termination.
Which is also a good example that the evil speculator is only boiling water with it. At some point, they have to sell to someone who actually buys a good at that price, whether it’s oil, gas, electricity, stocks...
I believe the gas situation for winter is quite well under control. Storage facilities are overfilled, LNG terminals are being put into operation, and tankers are waiting off the coast to sell. Unless pipelines to Norway blow up, Russia will most likely be completely replaced this winter. I never would have expected that in February, and despite all the criticism of our government’s back-and-forth botching, that’s really an achievement that should be appreciated once in a while
