My brother wants to buy a [ETW], we have negotiated the price from 344K to 320K (but want to pay a maximum of 310K).
The apartment is located near Lake Constance. However, it must be said that many agents/sellers now negotiate over the price. That was not the case a few months ago.

Yes, that's true, we also negotiated the sellers down. A few months ago that probably wouldn't have been possible.

No offense, but as a seller, I would add, say, 20% to what I want to achieve beforehand and then possibly "negotiate" with me.

As a buyer, you haven't gained more than a good feeling...

the difference is, 6 months ago people added 20%, and then someone came along who paid without flinching…

We still have some listings here where the price is too high, but still online :D Some apartments and houses have dropped below the 300K/500K mark

the difference is, 6 months ago they added the 20% and then someone came along who paid that without hesitation…

...or even added a bit more. That's how it went with a house we were also interested in.
