Yes, that can happen. But unfortunately, there are other realities as well. The girl in your example was already older. Younger children can’t always do something like that. Look at "problem families" and see how many children there don’t achieve what they actually could. And that’s not because of diligence. And it also strongly depends on intelligence. Someone with an IQ of 70 or 80 will not become a professor (to put it very simply).I never said that the result would be being able to afford a house.
An example of how it can go: About 30 years ago I got my technical high school diploma, in my class there was a girl who had to move out of her home because her father basically said: A woman doesn’t need to learn/study, she’ll be at the stove later anyway). SHE grabbed the opportunity with her technical high school diploma and civil engineering studies, that was certainly difficult. She could have chosen a different path here.
(for me: elementary school->grammar school->secondary school->vocational training->work->technical high school diploma->studies->self-employment)
Training and work were at an authority, by the way! I quit there on my own initiative to continue (see above).
See above, everything can always be explained, there is always a reason why someone couldn’t do something. THAT is what I mean by "weak". I also know the harsh reality from my own experience! Ultimately, many of my decisions are more than questionable from a financial perspective. But I don’t complain ;-) because clearly: everything was my voluntarily chosen path! During my studies I still thought: Oh, why does nobody tell me what to do. By now I’m glad no one tells me anymore ;-)
