The HAWAZUZI will certainly not come back, with us it is the Bulli, or something similar, the craftsman's vehicle

It is assumed that you buy the Golf new for cash, of course at the list price, and sell it again after 3 or 5 years. I don't know anyone, really no one, who does it that way. Oh yes, the car is fully comprehensive insured in the sample calculation, of course with 100% no-claims discount. And the sample Golf also goes through the car wash once a month...

No no. Those are not worst-case costs, that's the average. Everyone who monitors fuel and so on (and those are the economical ones) also knows that it's true. The ones you mentioned, who also get fleeced by the authorized workshop for 500 euros for the annual oil change, push the average up.

My car: Mercedes C-Class station wagon, year 2004, bought in June for €2500 including 2 years [TÜV]. Fixed costs:

Purchase 104€/month calculated over 2 years
Taxes 339€/year
Insurance 360€/year
Consumption ~6.5l diesel/100km.

It probably doesn't get much cheaper and I end up with a little over €160/month WITHOUT maintenance etc.
