When craftsmen calculate... it’s like if I built a house myself. Nothing good comes out of it. 20,000 € gross = 16,800 € net (20,000 / 1.19) = about 16,800 € and thus a tax share of 3,200 €.

I just read through the last pages and saw the prices for your carports. Wow. We now have an offer for a carport-garage combo, wooden construction, for €20,500. Electrical work and foundation are extra. Seems like quite a decent offer after all, doesn’t it?

For us, earthworks and foundation for our double garage were €8k, so half-complete prices are not quite comparable. But you probably can't complain.

60 km from Munich and Augsburg. And that in a village without supermarket, butcher, baker, etc. Nearest town 15 km away.

and you seriously paid 910€ for that? You can't really be that desperate, can you?

Don’t take it personally, but what does that have to do with desperation?

If you have to commute 20 km to work every day in the countryside anyway, you might as well stop by a bakery or something on the way.

For that, you basically step out your balcony door, after 30 meters you’re on a forest path where you can start jogging, walking, or a bike tour, and the only thing staring at you are a few cows instead of possibly stupid neighbors because you’re sitting close together on a postage-stamp-sized plot and see what the other person has on their plate while grilling.

But the main thing is to build a house for €3000/m2 with all sorts of bells and whistles, where the flowers are watered automatically via app, and the fridge orders groceries for you and then you eat the original Argentinian beef steak for €4.50 from the discount store on a Weber grill. Of course, the fridge ordered that for you after checking the bank account in real time to optimize purchases according to the monthly house payment.

But hey, at least you put up a pad for €600k for statistics and comparison.

Luckily, priorities and tastes differ everywhere.
