Currently, it would be interesting to know who is switching from 42 to 36.5 or has replanned from KFW40 to 55 due to lack of funding...

The price is quite reasonable there. For us, it was about €5,500. The question is what else you want to have. If you are already planning with photovoltaics, controlled residential ventilation, heat pump, you can install the €5,500 and get more back.

With us, it already makes quite a difference...

I am currently programming an AI that can lay 36 Ytong bricks. We’re almost there, but every time you think the algorithm runs smoothly, an exception pops up somewhere because it runs out of beer.

You should use 42. That is the answer to everything ;)

We simply planned with KFW55. Our planning started when the funding had already expired, and we did not want to rush for the "Easter pot". First, we expected it to be depleted quickly; second, I didn’t find the new grant amount very appealing; and third, based purely on personal feeling (we currently live in KFW55 standard), I see no need to live in an even tighter house. It already gets very warm inside here.

Of course, the counterargument is that KFW40 would be the better standard and that the property would objectively gain value from this. But that was secondary for us.

For us, it already makes quite a difference...

Does it perhaps make sense to still do an individual measure like the ceiling insulation of the upper floor?
