I can confirm something similar. Wood is currently not an issue at all. Windows (especially sliding doors) and roof tiles are currently the worst bottleneck. Although reinforcing steel is falling on the stock market, the current inventory is already reserved or sold, so no noticeable price decline is yet felt when purchasing.

By the way, the foundations are finished and in two weeks the floor slab will be poured. Everything is currently running smoothly :) Only a delay of one week so far due to [Tiefbau].

The problem is that we don't know when we can move in. Maybe in November, maybe later.

Is there any reason not to just sign a contract starting on 1/12?
What if, in the worst case, I still don't have a meter number by then?

Does it have to be a special heat pump tariff, and what price would be attractive enough for us to go for it?

Do you currently have a construction power meter? Then nothing stands in the way of a switch ;)

A construction site electricity meter is there, but it is billed directly through my general contractor...

Ah ok. So construction power doesn’t come out of your pocket at all…
