That's how it is!
And it's not only Generation Z that this affects, but also mine (Y)!

And then we're supposed to pay the pensions of the elderly, even though we ourselves won't receive a pension later. Really unbelievable.

The only point where I think the traffic light coalition is acting correctly is in dealing with Putin.
But I better not start on everything else.

I am actually quite satisfied with the traffic light coalition. Someone has to say it sometime. It's not like they would just lie down in a made bed. And no one wishes for a government to start a war right away. Scholz could show a bit more backbone. But he is thoughtful. All in all, things could be worse. I would only wish for more speed in preventing climate change. But it's not easy when you're pressing the gas pedal yourself and the neighbor is on the brake.

Well, the made bed thing is true... But the immigration campaign started by Merkel is continuously promoted and fueled, and the traffic light coalition itself is responsible for that.

I am also repeatedly shocked when such statements come up that all people are equal and therefore all people have every financial claim in this country. No, it is not like that, because this country should primarily be there for its own natives (just as it is seen in every other country as well). And accordingly, it is obvious that a German and a Syrian are not the same, because secondly, a Syrian does not belong to this country at all.

I better stop writing now, I am internally exploding into a thousand pieces again.

From when is someone considered a local?
My husband, for example, comes from a third country (Australia), immigrated here, (still) has no citizenship, and works here full-time.
Is he okay or should he be excluded? Is he allowed to receive child benefits for our joint, mixed-nationality children? Parental allowance?

I have asked this question to so many people (also directly, in real life), and the response was always "no, he’s okay, I have nothing against him."
Oh really? That’s not called conviction, that’s called racism.

The topic of pensions is indeed critical. We have the SPD to thank for the fact that pensions can never decrease, but only increase. In a pay-as-you-go system, this can only lead to disaster. By 2035, 50% of the federal budget will go towards subsidies for pensions. At least. Today, it is already one third.

Prudent, yes. One could also call it hesitant. If weapons had been delivered to Ukraine last summer that are only being sent now, Ukraine would not need a counteroffensive.

And small Germany will not prevent climate change anyway. It can only be stopped through geo-engineering, i.e. by actively removing and storing CO2. Even if we press stop tomorrow, it would likely still reach at least 2°C...
