I consider that a rumor. Here with us (Brandenburg), rural properties are already being bought up by Berliners (mostly) for several times the market value. The supply is decreasing, so prices will continue to rise, the CO2 price is irrelevant. Besides, you can install a wallbox + photovoltaic system and get an electric car.

We don't have a traffic light yet. Let's wait and see what else comes and how it will be implemented. My husband, like many of his colleagues, will mostly work from home in the future. That speaks more in favor of the country than against it. I could imagine that the elimination of the commuter allowance will increase the pressure for more home office.

The commuter allowance will definitely not be touched, so neither abolished nor increased. Instead, gasoline prices simply continue to rise. That results in less complaining among the population.

I also see building material costs continuing to rise, as they require a lot of CO2 in production.

Regarding home office, I can hardly make a prediction. I think it will rather decline again. Bosses are very conservative in this regard.

Home office will remain a permanent part of the working world in the areas where it is possible. Companies will no longer be able to avoid it, as otherwise they will lack the required skilled workers. If you don't want it, I'll just go to company XY, which offers [Home-Office].

It may be that bosses are conservative. But as is often the case, money is not everything. [Homeoffice] can make a position attractive.

Since we need to drastically reduce individual traffic, the elimination of the flat rate is of course extremely urgent. One can gradually phase it out over the next five years. Ideally, to the same extent as funds become available, these should be invested in broadband expansion.
