Here, surplus excavation material to a landfill in Bavaria would have cost €18.50 net per 1m³ (1.7t) in 2018.
I’m not sure if a truck including driver for 1 hour for €63 net would be added on top...
Another structural engineer wanted a flat rate of €5,000 net for hauling away, according to the offer.
We built with a basement and still managed to distribute all the excavation material among neighbors here in the new development area.

A nationwide comparison of current landfill fees for excavation material would be interesting. Share your numbers...

Our recycling company accepts construction debris free of charge. Anyone who demolishes and does not have hazardous waste as building material can already dispose of it.
Meanwhile, shredded construction debris is worth quite a bit. Gravel is hardly affordable anymore.

So whoever demolishes rents a jaw crusher, gets an excavator, and just tears the place down. If you can't operate an excavator, you have to take a course. There are these excavator parks everywhere where you can play a bit on Sunday afternoons.

What you can't do, you can learn.
Then you either use the material from the crusher yourself or sell it.

That way, you can also dig out your cellar. Then you find a farmer and have the soil taken to his field.

I don’t know where an extra 80,000 euros are supposed to come from?

My father excavated the basement pit by hand in the mid-70s, and it was not small.
It took a few weeks but cost nothing. And he didn’t die from it either. Of course, everything is different today.

Nowadays, the builder would rather run to the gym while his basement pit is being excavated for an expensive amount.

With the small plots today, where you can't slope off at 45°, you can die quite quickly in a ground collapse...

You can also rent an appropriate excavator with an operator. He will do it in a few hours. I have never seen an excavation pit with a 45-degree slope.

Slope yes, but definitely not 45 degrees.

The professionals can also tell whether they can briefly leave it as is given the soil conditions and dimensions or if they need to secure it accordingly. Keyword Berliner Verbau

The prices manufacturers receive for their goods increased by 26.2 percent compared to the same month last year, as the statistics office Eurostat announced on Thursday in Luxembourg. This is the highest rate since the introduction of the euro as a book currency in 1999. Analysts had expected an increase of this magnitude. Already in the previous months, producer prices had reached record highs.

The question will be whether it will be like in the 70s.
or worse ;)
