Yep. But until Germany becomes a cycling nation again, it will probably take a few more years... Maybe my children will get to experience it.

Isn't the thread called
Construction costs are currently skyrocketing
not Auto or are we now going to destroy each other until everyone is knocked out and one winner remains?

what a forum, and everyone has time to engage here for hours every day just to tell another person ONLINE that they are an idiot. Is your life so boring that you have nothing better to do? Don't you also have children who would be happy if you played Lego with them instead of beating each other up? really pathetic miserable. But playing Lego with a 5-year-old is just not that exciting, I know that. There is no winner takes all option, you will never meet ... give up

So far, I haven’t read anything about idiot. And in current times, good and balanced discussions are obviously very much appreciated. I, for one, am happy about the exchange of opinions. PS: The state distribution of funds in the form of subsidies obviously influences construction costs. To get to the e-car: the subsidized wallboxes are another cost factor that drives construction costs up a little bit ;-)

That's exactly the point. Here in Germany, or even in all of Europe, we can go back to living in caves and only move on foot. That has so little impact on the global climate that it can be neglected as long as not everyone worldwide participates. And as long as the main problem, the overpopulation of the world, is not addressed, one will never achieve the desired/necessary results with all measures.

And so we just continue like this? I prefer the principle that everyone should sweep in front of their own door instead of doing nothing and pointing at the neighbors' dirt. We are, after all, ranked 6th among the largest CO2 emitters and have the technical and financial means and the infrastructure to cause much, much less damage. And thus export possibilities for change as experience. We are 1.1% of the world's population and produce 1.6% of the global CO2 emissions. People just don’t feel like it, are too comfortable, too consumption-oriented.
