With the difference that in the USA mass murderers are executed, whereas in Arab countries also homosexuals or partly women who have been unfaithful are executed. A small but significant difference.

As an interested reader who is currently in the construction phase - the basement is almost fully concreted and the precast slab will be delivered next week - I must express my steadily growing displeasure over the discussions in this thread.

Of the now almost 800 pages, very few revolve around construction costs... Flight paths, refugees, electricity costs, the death penalty, etc. are all relevant topics, but not causally related to construction costs.

How has the price of wood developed? What is the price trend for windows?

A brief info about us... Roofer has ordered the roof tiles... Braas (concrete roof tiles)... Delivery time 10 weeks, availability no problem, no price increase compared to the offer from February this year

The user commented on the method of execution. Not on the legal system.

A question about concrete roof tiles. Are they treated in any way? We decided against them because the roofs covered with concrete roof tiles looked really bad after 5-10 years.

We have gold-plated beaver tail tiles on our roofs. Nothing has been visible for 15 years. A little moss formation on the north sides that washes off during heavy rain. Otherwise, the tiles are self-cleaning, so no bird droppings, no discolorations or attachments. They actually look like new.

Concrete tiles are simply very prone to dirt because the surface is also very rough.

Our Nelskamp are not treated and I can already say that after a few years they will no longer look as glossy gray as they do now. Apparently, you should not treat them at first because concrete becomes harder over time (?!) and the tiles essentially get better after 2-3 years. I was told that you can have them treated later, which costs about 4-5000€ for the complete 100sqm bungalow roof. Whoever can should choose engobed tiles, hardly more expensive and they last forever. However, our house builder wanted a hefty surcharge for our budget.
