Surely I mean electricity consumption.
You were calculated a heating energy demand of 6000 kWh for KfW 70 and 162 sqm? Including domestic hot water?

But the heating engineer from means heat quantity. Ah no, now I have confused heating load with heat quantity over the year. Wasn't there an estimation formula for that?

Phew, someone is really spouting some flat clichés here that I don’t want to leave uncommented. Two of my former teammates are professional soldiers and were severely wounded years ago in Afghanistan during the Good Friday battles. One of them even went back to Afghanistan for another three months despite having a glass eye and paralysis in his left arm. My brother was also deployed abroad several times as a professional soldier. Neither he nor his comrades show any signs that your statement is true. Regarding the topic of heating costs, I had another conversation yesterday with my father (79 years old) about heating costs. He lives alone in a corner terraced house built in 1974, in which several rooms still have the original windows and no insulation improvements have been made. Yesterday he was complaining again that heating oil is so expensive and that this year he had to fill up with about 2,200 liters for 3,000 euros. But the blame lies solely with the stupid neighbor because she ordered the oil for the whole row at the wrong time. He is therefore sure that next year it will be much cheaper again and only cost half... What I really want to say: Right in front of his house lies the local district heating network and he could be connected at any time. He has been asked several times but always declined because: That newfangled stuff, that would make me dependent on the provider. What if they raise the prices after the fixed price period expires? Well. 1 liter of heating oil has a calorific value of about 8 kWh. So this year he bought the kWh for around 17 cents. The district heating provider offers 8 cents with a price guarantee until 2030. Our neighbor diagonally opposite is just like my father, sold his house a few years ago and has since been living in a 3-room condominium and currently pays about 450 euros a year for gas. What I’m getting at: Everyone has chosen their living space themselves. Some opted for lower cold rent because until recently the energy costs were practically irrelevant. From my point of view, it was only a matter of time before energy costs rose...

This is not meant to be offensive at all, but wood stoves with toddlers should be absolutely taboo. The fine dust pollution indoors has a devastating effect on health. The likelihood of, for example, getting infections increases significantly, as does asthma. While understanding the difficult situation, the savings are not worth it.

is not the first time and certainly not the last... just read over it. Saves nerves

That is too general for me, you don't even know the stove insert we installed. Do you have a study on that? Source? I would like to read that myself.

I meant that in relation to the increased fine dust pollution indoors caused by fireplace combustion in room-air-independent fireplace inserts. That was what your warning referred to. We don't need to discuss that fine dust is unhealthy. We can gladly continue this via PM.

heizen-mit-holz-und-hirn.de has an article on this: I am not allowed to insert a link

"Das Umweltbundesamt und das Fraunhofer Institut geben Entwarnung:
The Umweltbundesamt investigated, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, in a comprehensive study the release of fine and ultrafine particles from various indoor sources. It was proven that "in the case of wood stoves (provided, of course, that they were professionally installed and are properly operated and maintained) no increased emissions are detectable indoors."

A comparable result was reached by a study of the Fraunhofer Institute. It states: "As long as the stove door is closed, substances are not released in significant amounts. Only when adding firewood do emissions enter the room air. Then, the researchers were able to measure a short-term slight increase in concentration."
