We paid about €20,000 for our carport 6x7.5m (made of concrete, 6 steel supports, all-around panel, green roof, installation) as well. From a well-known prefabricated garage manufacturer. Plus strip foundation. The requested wooden and steel carports were on the same price level. The concrete carport also required the strip foundation. So somewhat more expensive.

And yes, we were also shocked by the prices. Unfortunately, a garage was not allowed for us.

There’s not much to see. 6 metal supports and a concrete slab. ;) Google image search "Kemmler Betoncarport" --> first result, that’s what ours looks like. In spring, I’ll then build a storage room inside, using wooden profiles.

Stupid question. For comparison. My house without additional costs and extra services (photovoltaic system, conversion, incidental building costs, etc.) costs about €310,000. That’s €2,100 / sqm. That includes the concrete slab, the roof, bathroom, heating, etc. For a carport, which doesn’t even include all of that, to pay €20,000 I find already insane. We have now inquired about a wooden carport in Poland with point foundations. We end up at a maximum of €10,000.

That’s great!
Unfortunately, we haven’t found an affordable carport that complies with our development plan. Flat roof with green roofing or 40° roof pitch, unfortunately not many manufacturers do that. (Especially for our snow load zone in the south).

Aside from the fact that with 6m width and 40° roof pitch we would basically have a second house in front of our house and it would block our view. Therefore, gable roofs were already out of the question.
With the current material prices, some craftsmen did not want to make a fixed offer, but instead charge the current wood price upon completion. That would basically be ordering a pig in a poke.
In the end, we lost interest; every offer we requested just got more expensive.

10000 for the carport from tom1978 is okay but for the kemmler thing I would never pay that... Better one from TK Überdachungen.

Or via MyHammer with own labor.
