I have now heard twice that the basic supply tariff is the cheaper one, but is only offered for a limited period in order to then upgrade the customer as quickly as possible to a "normal tariff." For example, at ENTEGA. Also, the price can be raised almost arbitrarily within two weeks.

Neither water, chimney sweep, maintenance, garbage, property tax nor insurance depend on the existence of a third or even fourth exterior wall! 220 euros per month is not much, we pay about 110 euros for water alone for three people...and just wait until inflation and rising energy prices also show up in these items.

Property tax is lower because the plot is usually smaller, and insurances are normally also cheaper than for a detached single-family house.
