Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

One can imagine that. I already wrote this here weeks ago. No one will build anything in Germany anymore. There will be no more material. All energy-intensive manufacturers have to stop production. Nobody wanted to believe it and I was banned for it. Well then.

This afternoon, a report appeared on Zerohedge stating that Gazprom has shut down the Yamal pipeline to Europe. Apparently, the German gas buyers do not want to open an account with Gazprom Bank. Since all other banking connections to Russia have been cut off and the Swift system has been recklessly sanctioned, there are now initial supply halts. It will become critical when the Russians shut down Nord Stream I.
Then the German industrial consumers will be forcibly shut off. All of them!

Did I miss something in the last weeks? I was just on the KfW website and had a look around there. The KfW homeownership program now calls for 1.99% with a 10-year fixed interest rate. I still had under 1% in mind...

Are the interest rates at the "normal" banks developing in the same direction?
