This forum is quite snobbish. Germany is not doing well, many people aren’t either. The numbers tell a clear story; in terms of competition, we are mostly only in the lower mid-field. Italians, Spaniards, etc. are all significantly richer than us, retire earlier, etc.
Since Angela Merkel decided in 2015 to copy the Greens' policies, the decline began. Currently, it is accelerating enormously due to incompetents like Habeck and Baerbock.
Urgent reforms are missing everywhere. Right now, there is only one solution in Germany; other countries have shown it, we must vote right-wing. The AfD is an option here. They do great opposition work and should be given government responsibility. Höcke is a strange character, but compared to him, the Greens have even more radical figures.
You simply can’t let such nonsense stand. It’s all completely twisted. Italians and Spaniards are definitely not richer than us. Spaniards come to Germany to work as cleaners. We have full employment in Germany. Italy has a much higher pension level, but only about half the median income compared to Germany.
If Angela Merkel had copied the Greens' policies, she would have at some point expanded photovoltaics and wind energy much more, but above all, she wouldn’t have increased dependence on Russian gas.
I don’t want to deny that there are economically prospering and conversely disadvantaged regions in Germany, but overall, these statements belong to the usual AfD and Springer nonsense.
