Wouldn't it be more productive to continue this conversation in a tax forum? It's already pretty off-topic. I wouldn't be surprised then that over 1700 pages accumulate here.

No, the 1700 pages are because someone constantly complains about OT and thus fills the thread without added value :p

Surprisingly, the prices for photovoltaic components are plummeting rapidly. This was really not to be expected. VAT exempt and especially for the modules, there are overcapacities.

I still have 250 sqm of roof space in open south-facing exposure without shading on one of my barns and have been considering for some time installing a photovoltaic system there for full feed-in with my own labor.

The very good Trina Vertex S modules with 425 heat pump per module currently cost 141 euros including delivery when purchasing a pallet of 36 pieces. That would be 15.3 kWp capacity at 11 cents per kWh.

That would bring in about 1500 euros annually in Renewable Energy Act remuneration. In the future, maybe even more.

I would estimate investment costs at 10,000 euros. That is really very cheap.

Modules 5076€
WR Huawei Sun 15 kW costs 1900€
The rest for rails, holders, cables, electrician, etc.

So there are also things that sometimes decrease in price.

You can get gas again for 11 cents/kWh, electricity for 33 cents/kWh, diesel costs 1.60 EUR. The prices couldn't have stayed at the level of mid-2022. That's why I always advised: If possible... wait. In 2 years, you can get heat pumps, photovoltaics, etc. for half the price compared to mid-2022. Probably at lower interest rates than now... The chip crisis is also slowly easing. Unless you need components with ProfiNet processors. That stuff can still be weighed with gold, every FW update is considered three times...

We ordered our new front door today for €4200. Aluminum, very good insulation value, in old building style, but without any frills like fingerprint scan, lighting, or whatever else might have been available. The same door would certainly have cost €3500 or less 2-3 years ago.
The basement door cost €804. Both doors were purchased online from German manufacturers and both will be installed by ourselves.
I bought our tiles for €37.90/m2. Heavily discounted (originally €54.90).

I said wait 2, 3 years... not 2 months after narrowly escaping the gas crisis again...
