Miles away? The 1.5 degrees will be reached by 2030 at the latest.

Are you already 85, so you no longer have to care about this?

The cat is biting its own tail. As long as heat pumps and electric vehicles are not built and operated with 100% green electricity, they should not be built? This way of thinking is known as the German gold-plated solution. Everything has to be perfect with us before we even think about introducing something.

I guess many can’t even begin to imagine what a world looks like that is, compared to today (we already have about 1°C warming), another 2°C warmer.

That means milder winters, but also even more intense summers. And I already found the last summers with up to 40°C really not funny anymore.

There are regions in the world that already occasionally exceed the so-called cooling limit temperature today. That means no human can survive there anymore without technical aids like air conditioners.
Where will people go when they can no longer live in their homeland?

But this will no longer be stopped anyway. 2°C are set, 3°C more than likely.

I just read that CFCs are getting back into the atmosphere because China and India apparently don’t care. Without the ozone layer, we’re doomed anyway.

Then just air-to-air heat pumps against the heat (they can also heat, are even subsidized) and night storage heaters against the cold (they are still allowed). The old heat pumps with PFAS refrigerants must be torn out in a few years anyway. Somehow amusing what's happening at the moment..

And what do you do about 2-3 billion climate refugees who can no longer live in Southeast Asia in the second half of the century? I barely endured it in Shanghai in the summer of 2012. And Shanghai is still mild. In southern China, it is even more oppressive.

Humans have continually evolved under pressure. Either through evolution or through technical revolution
