I think meant Söder now and not Habeck.... unfortunately, I haven't seen the appearance yet either.

We had built with a general contractor, so the case may not be comparable. In our case, the lines were already connected, but for commissioning and instruction etc., the Vaillant service came. They checked everything again, measured, did everything...

When I then additionally concluded a service contract and the 5-year warranty parallel or after commissioning, the service had to come out again a few weeks later and make a "inventory" specifically for this. In response to my comment that Vaillant itself had only put the system into operation a few weeks earlier, the only answer was that this is how the rules are and that they have to carry out a "testing procedure" again...

Ah ok, then it makes sense. That was so clearly Söder. Although one still subtly hopes that it’s about poaching the Free Voters and not about pandering even further to the right.

It’s a pity, I can relay that 1:1. According to the heating calculation at the beginning, I was also supposed to have a 12kW heat pump installed—not inverter-controlled/modulating—with a 500l buffer. Not only would it have been about 5k more expensive mainly because of the buffer, it would have also become significantly less efficient. My buffer is my 36 tons of screed and the rest of the solid masonry. Unfortunately, the heating technicians are doing too well, so 95% don’t even engage in this discussion. Shame!

Yeah, that's what I meant. Connection and commissioning of heat pumps often runs directly through the manufacturer.
I suspect it's cheaper for the heating companies to outsource this than to send the technicians to workshops every two months.
Also, the experience has to be gained first; that doesn’t happen over a weekend. A 2-year technician training is probably better for this.

The crazy thing is, I’m even getting a modulating heat pump, but it supposedly can’t modulate low enough. My suspicion: they are calculating with 35-38°C flow temperature, correspondingly wide installation distances for the underfloor heating, and for these temperatures, the heat pump can’t utilize its modulation range at all.
