The meter number is not a mandatory field when entering data in MM, but it is problematic because it only has one field for the future delivery and the current address.

The solution was then to conclude the contract for the current address starting 1.1.23. EON will then just receive a moving notification.

Last year's consumption had to be indicated. Ours was very low at 1500 kWh. It probably won't be contractually damaging if I actually need a multiple of that with the house and heat pump?

why harmful? Your deduction is calculated based on that. And the price is currently really cheap… there are probably agreements running between them… so all I can say is: go for it

I dare to doubt that. Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg definitely pay more. Unfortunately...

Well, you also earn more ;) That should be taken into account.

I also find the concept of variable electricity prices really interesting, but as others have already mentioned, it does involve a bit of "engagement". Since buying electricity is not really my thing, we will wait and see what MM & Co. have to offer. Over the past 12 years, I have always found good deals through the well-known comparison portals, but that has stopped—for our region at least—in recent months.

Mhh. then we are doing something wrong in Saxony. High electricity prices and low earnings.
