So generally you can say that anyone who says something "against" heating with a fireplace here has never had one in the house/apartment. Otherwise...
For us, this is now the third one, and in the new house (new build) we definitely wanted to have one. Even if it means more work. But it IS WORTH IT!!

When the fireplace is on, we heat THE WHOLE HOUSE with it. It goes into all rooms! So the heating stays off!

I agree but this is important again right now because you misunderstood me. I think you misunderstood me a bit there. With the further development by Brügelmann the method works perfectly. I just experienced that it is not applied consistently and properly. The problem was and partly still is that teachers are not well trained in it and parents believe they know better. You don’t have to tell me that from the third school year onwards no differences can be proven anymore and that the written vocabulary? (sorry, been too long ago) is significantly larger ;) But I have also seen how people actually wanted to tick off how good teaching is using the checklist "10 characteristics of good teaching" ;) Inclusive special education and then (sometimes unfortunately) switched to the dark side ;)

That’s a good approach after all. In the end, it’s also crucial that the stove burns as well and cleanly as possible. Our pellet heating seems to do a good job heating, the chimney sweep’s employee briefly assumed it was at least a modern oil heating system ;) But I also have a problem without electricity. Let’s see what we’ll get as a long-term supplement.

Such nonsense. I grew up in a house that was heated almost exclusively by the stove in the kitchen. For years I carried wood from the forest, sawed, split, and stacked it. My father once got his hand caught in the wood splitter years ago and lost a thumb; the index finger was reattached and is so-so. I know the problem with other rooms and having to keep adding wood all too well. And the other problem is that the house cools down during the day if no one is there to keep adding wood constantly. That’s why there is now a second stove in the living room so it’s cozy in the evening. I like making fires and I’m also considering having a wood stove in the sauna (if it ever comes...). But that’s all just for fun. For everyday living, I want a heating system that I don’t have to constantly fuss over.

No one disputes that it is currently the cheapest way to heat. Many find it a bit difficult to weigh the few euros saved against the maximally environmentally and climate-damaging way to heat, which also burdens entire residential areas with fine dust levels higher than on main roads.

Waaaaah?
Modern wood stoves are miles away from what you are trying to convince yourself of... And even if someone burns old roof batten waste here... Look at other countries, old tires are simply burned there from time to time...
