On the topic of land purchase: At the beginning of the year, building plots were advertised here in a municipality and we looked at the allocation, but didn't get anything suitable. At that time, out of 103 plots, except for 18 (all LPB III, the others no LPB), all were reserved.
I just checked again on the municipality's website: about 40 plots are (again) available, about 20 only reserved. That's quite shocking when 60% of the plots are still not sold. That would have been unthinkable a year ago (nearest big city 20 km away).
You read about such circumstances every day nowadays.
Yesterday, an employee of a large regional civil engineering company was with us to disconnect the electricity before the demolition. I got him engaged in a conversation about the general order situation. He said that since April/May, the incoming orders from private builders have been extremely declining. Orders related to gas connections, for example, are almost non-existent anymore. Some projects were canceled and significantly more quotes are not being executed. A decline in orders and thus revenue is already clearly noticeable. If this continues longer, they want to consider short-time work.
