Hello,

a small tip regarding drawer lighting (this keyword came up recently).. these are also available from "our" manufacturer.

A cheaper option (I have it here):
LED strip under the countertop; currently mine is connected to a motion sensor..
That means queen concerns the room and the light turns on.
Also, then, regardless of which drawer is open, it is very well and furthermore also energy-saving.. illuminated..
We have also installed these LED strips in the current frosted glass wall cabinets.. and the color also changes..

A real highlight

High gloss

For cabinets that are 228 cm high, the hanging rail is mounted with the bottom edge at 222 cm. The sockets are not in the way there.

Yes, if the sockets are at 215cm. Then the sockets would be directly behind the wall cabinets.

Doesn't matter. The one is also next to the cabinet in the [Dunsthaubenbereich].

In our new apartment, there is no tiled backsplash installed in the kitchen. If I wanted to install one, I would need to obtain the owner's approval, as with wallpaper or anything else.

The wall must be a drywall partition, finished with smooth plaster.

Now I was thinking of such wall panels. There are various types and installation variations.

From a price/performance perspective, I thought of aluminum composite panels with a stone look, as in the picture.

There are various ways to install them; what would you recommend from the aspect of minimizing work when removing them in case of a possible move?

One option would be to use Ikea Fastbo rails; 2mm aluminum composite panels would fit here. Then there is the option of using various magnets to attach the panels to the wall or to use mounting adhesive.

In this case, you could also screw MDF boards to the wall and glue everything onto the boards. You would certainly have to attach the upper and lower cabinets to the MDF boards with the rails so that the wall clearance is correct again, or something like that.
