I couldn’t find a big difference between the sinks. I would let the price decide. I would also save the extra cost for the [excenterbedienung]. I would rather invest the saved money in a great [abzugshaube] or in the drawer lighting.

It will probably be Villeroy and Boch.

I will also do the move myself... I had planned 1000€ for a company, they want that much too with a tendency towards 900€, but I still find that too expensive for "actually" 2 rooms. For that money, I can buy nice balcony furniture.

What kind of splash guard have you actually installed? Tile backsplashes are only possible on request... as I already mentioned, I was thinking of 2mm aluminum composite panels and the Ikea rails.

Maybe also in stone look, they are also 2mm thick... so they should fit.

Hello,

a small tip regarding drawer lighting (this keyword came up recently).. these are also available from "our" manufacturer.

A cheaper option (I have it here):
LED strip under the countertop; currently mine is connected to a motion sensor..
That means queen concerns the room and the light turns on.
Also, then, regardless of which drawer is open, it is very well and furthermore also energy-saving.. illuminated..
We have also installed these LED strips in the current frosted glass wall cabinets.. and the color also changes..

A real highlight

High gloss

Hi guys,

today I measured the apartment, power outlets, water connection, etc.

Specifically: I can forget all previous plans.

On the wall where the kitchen is supposed to go there is

- at 35cm at floor level (so just above the baseboard) a power outlet, then again at 105cm and at about 405cm (measured at the center of the outlet).

- in front of the second outlet is the water connection, i.e. the sink and dishwasher have to go there (this is definitely the easiest option), IKEA also recommends this to me (I was there today).

Therefore, the arrangement would look like this now...

1. Filler strip (5cm)
2. Wall cabinet oven (60cm)
3. Sink cabinet (60cm)
4. Dishwasher (60cm)
5. Stove cabinet (80cm)
6. Regular base cabinet (80cm)
7. Corner cabinet

Then I would make the kitchen "only" 208 cm tall, since the upper power outlets are at 215cm.

I can't move the induction cooktop any further either, since at 300cm from the wall there are 3 power outlets calculated for kitchen appliances (again measured at the center).

I am now taking the sink Villeroy and Boch Subway 45 ceramic, I would install it as far away from the tall cabinet as possible, since the basin is only 40cm wide, so I could leave 20cm to the tall cabinet.

Here are pictures of how I imagine it all.
