I can very well understand your decision-making process towards an Ikea kitchen. After visiting quite a few kitchen studios, the category of kitchen salespeople ranks pretty low in my personal opinion in terms of social standing. We also ended up at Ikea and have been using our kitchen for nearly 2 years now and are still satisfied. But one thing you definitely have to do is get advice on your design on site from a kitchen consultant at Ikea. They can give you good tips and also fix some pitfalls. (For example, I have doubts about whether the drawer under the stove top works depending on the stove top). You can save your planning that you created at home on the website online and then access it together with the consultant in the store so that you can continue working on the design. Very practical. I also have to say that we were very well advised by the consultant. I would never have thought that.
One small tip: have Ikea create a kitchen measurement for you. It costs 90€, but is deducted when you purchase the kitchen. This way you have the assurance that it fits.
