well, if you want the perfect kitchen for yourself, it definitely makes sense to engage with the entire planning of the kitchen. and why not plan the kitchen now? you’re not supposed to buy it right away ;) since you think/ thought that 60 cm cabinets are standard, I generally assume that you have very little idea what options there are for a kitchen nowadays (which is a lot). 60 cm cabinets are no longer simply standard :) even Ikea has more to offer, and I can only recommend largely saying goodbye to the 60 cm size when it comes to regular base cabinets. more optimal are rather 80-100 cm, anything above that is rather impractical again. also important for the size of the kitchen space is to be clear about which row distances should be maintained and which working height is needed. because the room size depends on this when an island, G or U shape is planned, and the working height is very important for the windowsill height of all windows planned in the worktop area. under no circumstances should the windowsill height be below the working height, and then you have to consider whether you want the worktop to run into the window reveal or if you want a light strip, etc.
