Solar system with storage in the garage, possible?

When combining electronics and batteries, please ensure compatibility. It is not necessarily given.

I would never put photovoltaic panels on the roof without a battery and switch. If I have my own electricity, then I want to use it when I need it. And especially if the supplier fails. Yes, unfortunately, it is very expensive, and that's why we are still considering whether our ecological conscience is so strong that it basically only results in a loss.

This is a very one-sided and not entirely correct point of view. Even with storage, you will make a profit after 15 years. Without storage, after 10 years.

The question is whether your storage will last 15 years. No one can tell you that as of today.

At least I just signed the order for a wallbox. Powered with electricity from the also commissioned photovoltaic system – by the way, the system installer explicitly advised against the storage because it’s uneconomical! That says something.
