All these cloud solutions are a plague. At least for the average consumer. Whether electricity theft, solar theft, or for that matter pizza theft, it all ends with a hole in the budget afterwards.

I would have already rejected the provider based on the reviews from Google.

Normally, I don't comment in threads where everything has already been said, but here I do it to emphasize it even more.

Don't do it!

Build your own system on the roof and pocket the (small) return yourself.

I just read that there will also be a monthly fee for the cloud.

And you still have to pay for the [Anlage mit dem teuren Speicher], correct?

Yes, the system has to be paid for + the monthly fee.

On paper, it all looks quite nice, but I don't trust these promises at all. That's why I turned to the forum because I have absolutely no experience in this regard and in my region almost everyone who builds new relies on the combination of gas + solar thermal because "…this new stuff is useless anyway…" and so on.

So, it's best to buy a photovoltaic system + storage and cover the heat pump and your own consumption with it and get some money back at the end of the year from the feed-in tariff? However, I have to pay taxes on that, correct?

In most cases, the storage system is only worthwhile if you get it almost for free or heavily financed through a funding program (Kfw 40+ or state funding).

Without funding, the gurus from various forums calculate that the kWh of electricity from the storage costs you about €0.40.

Electricity from the socket costs you ~€0.30.

Once again briefly about the offer: If I understand these offers correctly, it means you pay a company for a solar system with storage (no risk, no investment for the Stromcloud company). You then also pay a monthly installment to be allowed to draw electricity. And you are allowed to consume as much electricity for then €0 as you feed in yourself. Anything beyond that costs the normal electricity price again.

I think if you enter this into an Excel sheet, it becomes relatively clear quite quickly that it almost never pays off unless the initial investment + installment are very, very low (I lack data here).
