no, it can be a built-in refrigerator. I naturally want to spend as little money as possible ;-) Of course, I could turn the whole place upside down, but that is not practical for an apartment that is occupied 5-6 weeks a year. Renting out is not an option either.

Really? Not at all for me. I somehow immediately thought of a "kids' table," where those who were naughty have to sit and initially are not allowed to participate in the life in the room.

In any case, I would plan a work surface for the kitchen. I had that in my old apartment and loved it! Slightly deeper and always light during the day. Well, for me the window was in a loggia, where the countertop was, so I was never blinded by the sun. But the table in the niche and then another in the living area would not be my first solution. With 5 people, the relatively small dining table in the living area becomes too tight, and sitting side by side at the table by the window, I find really uncommunicative.

I mean the dining table, not the Starbucks bar ;)
